Business Development Rep
We are the first ever Talent Growth platform. We are on a mission to help engineering and product leaders become great leaders. Thanks to our software, our talent coaching program and our incredible community we help thousands of aspiring leaders to grow. We started with external mentorship for engineering leaders and experienced exponential growth for the past 2 years. After raising our Series A late 2021, we are building the future of our platform with new products and new verticals.
We’re looking for BDRs who will be prospecting into Mid-Market (251-1000 employee) and Enterprise (1000+ employee) accounts and speaking with VPs of Engineering / CTO and HR Leaders to help their Engineering Organization be the best they can be.
-Prospect and develop new business leads and enhance existing relationships
-Engage with prospects through Emails, LinkedIn and Cold Calls to learn about their needs and get them excited about the Plato platform & community
-Qualify sales leads by conducting high level conversations with executives
-Strategize with team members to innovate & improve the overall sales development process
-Conduct sales development best practices with email, phone, and social drips using enablement technology to connect with new prospects
-Work closely and collaboratively with the sales team to develop and implement appropriate prospect communication plans
-Work internally with Account Executives to ensure proper quality and quantity of Plato demos
-Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service/sales environment

Nice to Have
-BA/BS Experience in B2B SaaS a plus
Experience with Salesforce (CRM), LinkedIn Sales Navigator (List Building) & Outreach (Sales Engagement) a plus
Experience prospecting into Mid-Market / Enterprise accounts a plus
Your Key Missions
-You are one of the first members of the outbound team at Plato and have a big opportunity to shape the future this new department
-Work with the Director of Sales Development to launch and test regular outbound campaigns to source pipeline
-Book 10+ meetings for Account Executives on a monthly basisImprove our Sales Playbook with sharing your thoughts, analysis and learnings

Our team is fully remote, our only requirement is that you are able to commit to:
3-4 hour overlap with PST for non-customer facing roles
5 hour overlap with PST for customer facing roles
